Hopeless Virgins in Love

I haven’t talked about this in a while, but some years ago I wrote and directed a microbudget feature film called Hopeless Virgins in Love. We shot it in 2005, it took me years to finish it, and I never quite figured out how to get it in front of people. The good news is, it’s really fucking good and I remain proud of it to this day. We had an amazing cast, a very small crew that worked miracles, and the final product is every bit as funny and profane and wild and untamed as I had hoped it would be.

I tend to describe the film as a violently romantic comedy.

I could describe it further, but I personally think the ideal way to see this film is to stumble upon it, preferably late at night, when you’re down to watch some young adults make terrible decisions.

The main reason I’m writing this is to let you know that it is actually possible to see Hopeless Virgins in Love. I have recently uploaded the entire film onto YouTube.

you can now watch this movie whenever you want

(It is also currently rentable on Amazon and free on Tubi, but I wanted to have it in a place where I know it will remain, and where the distribution terms are less likely to change on a whim.)

I am long past the point where I expect to make money on this (or break even, really). But I honestly believe that there is an audience for this film and I want to make it as easy as possible for those (weird) people to find it.

If this sounds like something you’d be into, I encourage you to seek it out. It would make me incredibly happy to know people are watching it.

Electronic Music by Humongous Frog

the playlist

This is the YouTube playlist for the music I release as Humongous Frog. The image above should change each time I add a video. There are over 50 of them right now, so if you want to hear some weird instrumental electronic music, here you go.

This link will take you to some streaming services and other places you can find Humongous Frog:

HUMONGOUS FROG – GETAWAY – FULL VISUAL ALBUM

The whole album, with visuals.

I created a visual album for my new Humongous Frog release, Getaway. It’s on YouTube, all 18 songs, each with its own audio-reactive visualizer.

I’m really happy with how this turned out. Check it out if you can.

(The album is also on Bandcamp and streaming, if you prefer to listen that way.)

HUMONGOUS FROG

I know it’s been a while since I updated this, but one thing I want to tell you is that I am now the keyboard player for Humongous Frog. I make instrumental electronic music that you can solve crimes to.

I have been posting a new song / music video every week or two for a while now (sorry I should have been posting them here as well) so here is a link to a playlist (that I will continue to update) with a bunch of songs on it.

Songs I made, somehow. Which was not a thing I thought I could do until recently.

I am also on streaming services as Humongous Frog if you prefer to listen to music that way.

this should be a playlist of songs I made as Humongous Frog
